This is the place to discuss the ‘dating game‘ or ‘dating reality", falling in love the second time again, what ‘romance" means to you and why some great friendships never meant to be a ‘relationship".

Hi brown sugar!

If he's smart that's how he thinks of you! You don't need those plumbing parts to make him happy, but they sometimes see the picture in a strange light. Problem is... until you get him to open up to you, it puts a stress on your complete relationship. I agree with Larry that it could be problems (or otherwise) that your man is not sharing with you. Be sure he is fully aware (though actions and verbal) of how you feel about him TODAY... yesterday is gone.

Possibly, when you two are relaxed and wide open you could gently ask where he sees you two in 5 years... or, if you feel safe, ask how he feels about you right now. You know... sexy partner, friend, sister (ugh)! Don't forget, going for a walk together is not only romantic, it's good for your body too! Long relationships can be rough but anything worth having in life takes effort.

Stick with it and best of luck!
